Physical Therapy
Tailored to you and empowers you to take control of your health and fitness
I love Kevin’s practical evidence-based approach.
I first came to Kevin with lower back pain that was really affecting my quality of life. I’d been to other physical therapists to try and address the pain, but hadn’t had significant relief. Kevin took a practical approach to my assessment and treatment plan. He found movements that were painful, developed a plan I could execute to strengthen the muscles involved in those movements, and helped me incorporate those movements into my exercise plan. Now - I sneeze without pain. That formula has repeated itself more than once with other injuries as well.

After a post-marathon IT band injury forced me to stop running and began affecting my daily mobility, Kevin was instrumental in my recovery. Over months of working together, he guided me through a comprehensive strength training program that focused on rebuilding my foundation. Kevin is an incredibly attentive listener who truly understood the pain and concerns I was navigating. He knew when to push me out of my comfort zone and when to provide modifications I needed to stay on track.
Thanks to his expertise and constant encouragement, I’ve returned to my baseline and am now officially training for Hood to Coast this summer. I highly recommend Kevin to anyone who is looking to overcome an injury and get back to what they love.

Physical Therapy
A great physical therapist assesses your current status, listens to your goals, and visualizes a path to reach them. They challenge you in reasonable amounts so you improve. They listen to your story and your concerns. They have a good understanding of current science and evidence while appreciating how each human is unique with their own psyche and preferences. They practice what they preach, and they learn with you.
This is what you will find at KL Physio.

FAQs
What conditions do you treat?
I treat almost every musculoskeletal injury. Common conditions include, but are not limited to, knee pain, shoulder pain, low back pain, foot pain, hip pain, ankle pain, muscle strains, tendon injuries, return to sport following fracture, and more. If your condition is not appropriate for physical therapy, I will make recommendations and referrals for further consultation.
You also don’t need to be actively injured to work with me. Sessions can be tailored to improving performance, optimizing training, reducing injury risk, increasing strength/durability, and more.
Do i need a referral?
No, you do not need a referral in Oregon to see a physical therapist with cash pay or most major insurance plans.
can i use my insurance?
I do not take insurance currently at KL Physio. If you wish to use your insurance, you can schedule with me by visiting/calling Apex PWR.
How many sessions will i need?
It depends on your situation. I try to make the most of your time and money and will not pressure you to schedule twice a week for 12 weeks like many clinics do. I do my best to create a plan of care that optimizes your outcome, which can look like once a week, every other week, or once a month. You will also leave with a independent program that includes home exercises, activity guidance/modification, and progression guidance.
is there a remote option?
Yes! We can combine remote and in-person sessions to create a plan that works for you.
What should I expect at KL physio?
I listen to my patients/clients and work with you to create a path to your goals, whether your are a novice runner wanting to safely begin a running program or a veteran athlete training for your next Ironman or Hyrox.
where can i work with you?
I work at multiple locations: inside Epic Fitness in West Linn, in my home gym/clinic in Tualatin, and at Apex PWR in Tigard. Each location is unique in its setup and offerings, and I will make sure we choose the right option for you.
What are your hours?
