Coaching and personal training

Pro-level services for athletes of all abilities

Working with Kevin has transformed me as a runner. As a 42-year-old female athlete, I had been for five years, but I never felt like I truly knew what I was doing.

From our first conversation, I knew I was in great hands. What sets Kevin apart is his philosophy—training smart while prioritizing injury prevention. His calm, steady, and consistent approach gave me confidence and kept me progressing without setbacks. He truly understands how to balance pushing for improvement while respecting your body.

I’ve achieved a personal best in the half marathon, running a 7:59 pace—something I never thought was possible. Now, I’m training for my second full marathon with the goal of qualifying for Boston, and I feel stronger than ever.

Kevin is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in his athletes. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

-Leslie Newton

Kevin is a skilled coach who creates thoughtful training plans that fit into my life, not the other way around. Working with him, I achieved results that exceeded my expectations all while working full time and traveling several times a month. I may have surprised myself, but I didn't surprise Kevin — he accurately predicted my finish times down to the minute. 10/10 recommend.

-Eleanor Carrick

Since starting working with Kevin at the beginning of 2024, he has helped me bridge the gap from racing amateur triathlon to competing as a professional. Kevin embodies what it means to be an athlete centered and data driven coach. His background in physical therapy and experience in endurance sports brings a wealth of knowledge that has personally helped me navigate through injuries, prepare for races, and find a balance between training and my life outside of triathlon. Kevin’s passion for developing athletes is complimented by his attention to detail, strong communication, and selfless ability to help others achieve their best; he is the epitome of a great coach.

Personal training and strength coaching

Want a physical therapist to guide your general fitness and strength training? Sessions are in-person for one hour. You’ll spend the hour performing a guided workout tailored to your goals and leave with a independent home program to stick to until we meet next.

This is perfect for you if you:

  • have concerns about existing or prior injuries

  • are returning to sport/performance following injury

  • want to supplement your swimming, cycling, or running training with strength training tailored to the endurance athlete

  • want a high level coach to craft a path forward toward fitness goals, whether that involves general cardiovascular fitness, strength, endurance, or hybrid performance

  • want a performance oriented experience while training smart and minimizing risk of injury

Rates are the same as physical therapy rates and are listed on the physical therapy page.

Small group training is available in Tualatin, please contact to inquire.

Remote triathlon coaching

I started coaching triathletes halfway through my undergraduate education in exercise science and physiology. 10 years later, I am proud to have coached Ironman and marathon first timers, aspiring amateurs who have qualified for professional licenses, and pro podiums.

All coaching is individualized — no cookie cutter plans, no BS — the training fits your life and goals, not the other way around. Working with me, you receive a thorough knowledge of exercise physiology, strength training, training/racing nutrition, AND injury rehabilitation in addition to a coach who realizes you’re human and truly listens to you.

If you are an injured athlete seeking remote coaching and rehabilitation to return to performance, Peak is for you.

(Runners, cyclists, and Hyrox athletes are welcome too!)
