Triathlon injuries rarely exist in isolation. Running volume, bike position, swim load, strength training, and the demands of balancing three sports can all influence how an injury develops—and how you should recover.

KL Physio provides individualized physical therapy for triathletes throughout the Portland area, with rehabilitation built around your training and racing goals. Rather than simply telling you to stop training, we'll determine what you can continue safely, address the factors contributing to your injury, and progressively rebuild the strength, capacity, and durability you need for swimming, cycling, and running.

Serving triathletes in Tualatin, Tigard, Sherwood, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Wilsonville, and the Portland metro area.

Triathlete Treating Triathletes

As a triathlete, I understand the demands of your training. I understand the rigorous schedule, the long hours on the bike, the aches, pains, and sacrifices that can come with something as challenging as Ironman.

You deserve a PT who understands you and the sport.

What to Expect

Your first session starts with a detailed discussion of your injury, training history, current workload, and upcoming goals.

From there, we'll identify the factors most likely contributing to your symptoms and develop a clear plan for what you can continue doing, what may need to change temporarily, and how we'll progress you back toward full training.

Treatment may include hands-on care when useful, but the foundation of rehabilitation is active: progressive loading, strength training, movement retraining, and gradual exposure to the demands of triathlon.

You'll leave with a plan that actually fits into your training week and recommendations for training adjustments.
